Tattoo & Models
Project 1 student are purposed to explore different ideas through the model making workshop.Student will understand the way to design using design principle and elements.
Requirement:
6 model in 100mmx 100mmx 100mm size
6 tattoo stamps to explain the intention ,design principle and element of the model
Shape, Scale
I use circle to create the model.As the shape are the same, I use different scale of circle to differentiate it.
Shape, Emphasis
This model was inspired by explode concept.
Triangle were used to show the strong and powerful of explode in this model.The Triangles focus in a focus point to emphasize the model
Lines, Connection
In this model, lines are used as design element.Line is 2 point which connect with each other and form a 2D connection.As more and more lines are connected,it form a connection between each other .
Material, Variety
in this model,I use material as my element.Different material in the model form variety principle in the model.It gives the model different colors and pattern.
Space , Unity
In this model i use space as the element.The positive space and negative space combine and form a space to show the unity.
Line , Rhythm
In this model, i use line as my element as line is more obvious to show the rhythmic movement.The lines were rotated in different angle to form the rhythm in the model.

Reflection
From this project, I learned the ways to generate intention through the process of exploring design principle. I also learned how to design a thing by using design principle and element.
