INTRODUCTION TO ASSIGNMENT & TASK

introduction of assignment~

About how to appreciate nature---notice , admire and feel by ourself.Human always destroy nature ,this assignment taught us how important nature is and inspire us to appreciate and also protect the environment before it sick.We also learn how to observe the nature and feel it by ourself.The assignment was to find a shelter site for lego character----red at site choosen during janda baik trip.

Task~

- extend knowledge through research of the earth component as out main natural setting of a site :

a) Atmosphere (on air/expose to air)

b) Biosphere (specific to flora setting example: tree)

-find a main suitable site, (approx. 2500mm x 2500mm size)

-select a shelter site (approx. 500-1000mm x 500-1000mm)

-do a site study including site survey, site inventory and site analysis of the selected site.

-study and consider the needs/essentials of character red in terms of its nature and adaptation

-establish a miniature shelter for red using a set of blocks

-Give 2 options of implementation of shelter on site and capture them through photographs.

-record the consideration process for choosing the site and the assembly/placement of the shelter

-record the condition of the site before doing anything to the site and the condition after

-present all findings according to task above verbally through presentation boards to explain about the condition of environment through the site study

MY PROCESS /WORK PROGRESS

reason:-it lower to ground (red can't fly in a long distance)

-facing to river (to calm red if he is angry )

-in a tree hole (red need a private space )

our group member Beverly is surveying the shelter site

All of the group member is busy surveying the site

however the site cannot fit so many people so some of us is standing beside the site and pass anything they need.

setting the shelter in the shelter site that we design like a castel for red. the shelter site is not a flat surface so we put some tape and twig under it to make sure the shelter is straight.

REFLECTION

I had learned how to cooperate with team mate perfectly and also feel the nature by myself.I learned how to choose something by fullfill the user need.I think this is a fun and a meaningful work.
